I had wanted to go home for Mother's Day but my boss scheduled me for customer service training. The class was ok but after more than 30 years of dealing with the public I think this may be as good as it gets but of course I didn't want to tell my boss that. I can't get fired since I don't have any prospects with regard to a different job or even a different line of work so that I would never get yelled at again. It seems to me that people think it's ok to treat other people like crap and you're just supposed accept that and still try your hardest to placate them; go out of your way to treat them with respect though it will not be reciprocated, go to great lengths to make sure the asshole gets his/her way.
