Gillian went on one date with a man from Match.com before all of her regular customers told her that Match.com is all married guys trying to hook up (I don't know that that's true). Gillian met the prospective man for a drink. She asked me to go along in case he was some but job. She thought he was fun and very entertaining. We did laugh a lot. He told the funniest story about meeting a woman from Match.com in Dallas who asked to use his bathroom (in his hotel room) and came back in a teddy and hunched leg. This was after she showed up, he determined he was catfished and when his prearranged phone call came he said there was a family emergency so he needed to leave. My checks hurt I laughed so hard. Gil was pretty smitten. As usual I noticed something; His earlobes were funny ( gotta remember to re-read Advice For Picky Daters again). In a short time, Gil went out on a date with her match and he never called again. He told her she lived too far away. Gil's feelings were hurt but I told her he was trying to let her down easy by saying she lived too far away. The truth; Though she felt like there was chemistry there he didn't.
