I asked supervisor if I can have Friday off so I can go to a job interview (the first interview went well so this is a second interview). His reply was not yes or no which would be appropriate and understandable but "You have to do what's best for you." That reply is from the same guy who has encouraged me to look for other position since I started my current job.
