Bad feeling

Marty asked if I ever get a gut feeling about someone I'm dating & its turns out that my gut feeling was right on. I said, "Sure. I started dating a guy last year, he asked me a question and in the middle of my answer he cut me off and got snippy so I made some excuse and got off the phone. There was something in his tone that was disrespectful and contemptuous. I got a really bad feeling about him. The next day when I saw him he apologized and made the excuse that he was tired. I did appreciate the apology. But deep inside I had the feeling it would happen again. And it did. I had the feeling guy I met and was very attracted to at first was not as nice snd considerate of others, especially me as he was pretending to be. Everyone puts his/her best foot forward on the first few dates. That very first time he cut me off and was rude was a window into his personality and turned out to be very indicative of his true nature."
Besides being rude, it's also a huge turn off when someone talks to you in a way that is belittling.
