Intuition

I took my present position in Killeen, TX for a good reason though I had just made some new friends and started dating a guy I thought was great while working in Corpus Christi. I was very happy in my personal life but very nervous about my position in Corpus Christi. I was afraid that shortly my boss would either be fired or indicted for his illegitimate actions which would lead to me being fired or deposed. Consequently, I packed all my stuff and started over once again. Yesterday, I got a call to let me know that the Corpus Christi Police Department may be contacting me about my former boss. My name came up. I'm hoping that I will not be called. Even though I am not happy here I guess I made the right decision because I knew something bad was going to happen and I would probably be told to do some things I did not agree with or lose my job in Corpus so when this opportunity arose I had to take it. I am trying very hard to be grateful that I got the heck out of Corpus just in time. I try to be optimistic about everything but I really miss my friends and the beach.
