Hot ride

A few of us rode our bikes yesterday. Even though it was 7:30 in the morning, it was already hot. I'll be glad when it's a little cooler.

Memorial Weekend

Long weekend with Vivi. Yay!!!

Hair

One of my coworkers was talking to me about some plans we needed to review and something kept moving around in between his eyes. I told him there's something on your head. It turned out to be a really long hair so I grabbed some scissors and cut it off. Problem solved.

No rain

It's not raining this morning so maybe I will get to ride my new bike today. I think it's supposed to rain again tomorrow and I have a date with my Norwegian so no bike on Wednesday. If it doesn't work out that I can ride this evening then I'll get out this weekend with June if her busy schedule allows. June is getting anew bike too. Her husband is buying it for her birthday. That's some present;-) 

Guilty

I'm starting to feel like I abandoned June since I'm not riding in the MS 150. Darn it.

MS150

June is ready for the MS150. She thanked me for training with her so she would be ready but then she said that she was told not change anything (with regard to riding) so that means I had to go with her. I thought it was so cute but there is no way I would miss Willie Nelson this weekend.

Busy

This week flew by like it was part of a dream but I had more fun than I have had in a very long time.

Things people don't know they're not good at:

Seeing

I've been trying to get used to wearing one contact for quite a while now. I overlook things all the time and I accidentally call the wrong people. It's starting to get old but I like having the contact and sunglasses when I am riding my bike. Last time June and I rode, it was so windy that she and I had trouble seeing after the ride. The eye without the contact was worse. It was red for a few days. June's eyes were really red since she wasn't wearing contacts. She has contacts now so maybe that will help. There are a couple of rides this weekend but i don't think June wants to go. Becky and Vivi might want to go though.

Choices for the weekend

There are a couple of rides this weekend and Vivi wants to take me to a show (burlesque or cabaret). It's my birthday weekend so i have to live it up. I haven't had a great birthday in a while, last year was ok...I had a drink with June, Robert, June's hubby, and Nathan. We laughed a lot. it was a fun day. Work is grind lately though so I can't imagine anything fun stemming from work.

Shopping

Vivi and I shopped today.It's the first time we've hung out in a while. My Norwegian buddy is in Canada for the next few days so I won't have a dinner date until he gets back to town.
